Tom Traubert was a famous Street Tough in Denver Colorado. I have a copy of his Denver Post obituary - he was stabbed to death on a school playground there. But Tom Waits knew him, and believe that is a photo of he and Waits at the end of this video ....
Sorry, no Tom Traubert in that video that I saw. I knew him slightly when I was a kid, he was a friend of the family, died in 1982. Tom Waits met him through Chuck E Weiss, another friend of my family's. That pic late in the video of Waits sitting in a cafe with another guy? It's Elvis Costello.
